Dr Pierre Eftekhari
Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Dr Pierre Eftekhari (PhD) is chairman of the Inoviem Scientific Supervisory Board. He is the inventor of Inoviem Scientific technologies and the founder of the company. He is Chief Scientific Officer and President of Inoviem Scientific. He has extensive knowledge of the contract research industry with over 15 years experience in the field. Dr Eftekhari founded several companies prior to founding Inoviem Scientific, and he has been in the management team of Forenap Therapeutics and NewThera.
Mr Jean-François Rax
Representative of Alsace Capital
Mr Jean-François Rax is the representative of Alsace Capital. Mr Jean-François Rax has broad experience in Life Sciences company creation and private equity. He has worked for Inserm Transfert, the knowledge transfer subsidiary of Inserm, the French public research institute. He is currently Investment Director at Alsace Capital where he is in charge of the newly created seed fund, Cap Innov’Est.
Mr Michel Hubert
Michel HUBERT, President and Founder of NHBP Consulting, has more than 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He occupied different corporate and business development positions in major and mid-size pharmaceutical groups and biotech companies such as Abbott Laboratories, Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Novartis, Transgene, Laboratoires Fournier and Rhône-Poulenc (now Sanofi). Pharmacist by training, his career stand out with an impressive track record of deals such as Abbott Fournier Tricor license agreement and related fenofibrate novel formulation deals, Roche Transgene HPV vaccine licensing agreement, Novartis MGH MIT Huntington Disease R&D agreement.
Dr Daniel Da Costa
Invited member of the Supervisory Board
Dr Daniel Da Costa is Communication and Commercial Officer at Inoviem Scientific. Dr Da Costa holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Strasbourg, and a Master Innovation Management. Dr Da Costa worked for the Alsatian incubator, Semia, where he worked as Project Manager. He is responsible for the business development of Inoviem Scientific.
Cap Innov’Est is a seed fund, supplied with 36 million euros of assets, investing in innovative projects coming from the three French regions Alsace, Franche-Comté and Burgundy.
